Cluster with multiple public networks: failover scenarii
Hello,
We're contemplating installing clusters with more than one public networks.
I've been reading the documentation but so far I have found answers to the following questions.
Say I have a cluster with two nodes. On each node I have two IPMP groups on two different networks.
- if I have LogicalHostname resources on both public networks and I lose one and only one IPMP group, what happens? Any resource on this network will switch to the other node or everything (as in all resources on all networks)?
- same question if I have a LogicalHostname resource in a zone (knowing that only this zone uses this specific public network)
