Scenario Setup Periodic vs YTD

 Hi -

I am looking for feedback /best practice for Actual scenario setup, should that be setup YTD vs Periodic, what is the pros and cons? In my limited HFM experience, most Actual scenario is setup as YTD and Budget scenario is setup as Periodic. Is there a risk if the Actual scenario is setup as Periodic? Looking for Pros and Cons.
