R12 - iProcurement Upgrade

  Hi,

I know that for R12 the extractor is obsolete and that the new functinality involved the BPA or GBPA creation.

My customer is migrating from R11 to R12 and has lot of catalog information to upload without GBPA or BPA related.

Is posible to migrate the information without create a GBPA or BPA? Is mandatory to create always a GBPA or BPA to upload catalog information?

I read White Paper: Enhanced Catalog Content Management, Online Authoring And Content Security Model in Release 12 [ID 560749.1] and my understanding is that is mandatory for the migration to create the GBPA or BPA.
