What is iLOM and how do I use it?

The technology iLOM is an integrated service processor that is shipped with all modern Oracle / Sun platforms. The iLOM (Integrated Lights Out Management) service processor is an evolution of Sun's legacy LOM and TS Alarms technology which allows for remote connection and administration of servers through either serial or TCP-IP connections.
