GL Class Categories and Sub Ledger Accounting

I would like to be able to use Inventory Category Sets to define some of my Sub Ledger Accounting rules.

I have created a General Ledger Class Category Set controlled at Master Level. However, when I attempt to use this set in my Accounting Derivation rules using the Source 'GL_CAT_CATEGORY_SET_ID' there is no LOV and the field will only accept numerical values.

Is it possible that I am using the wrong source? When I look at 'GL_CAT_CATEGORY_ID' the correct LOV can be used in the ADR condition. 

Can anyone assist with this issue, any direction would be gratefully received!
