Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hi,

Can some one please describe how the remaining life is calculated.

we have a prorate convention to start depriciation from following month

does the remaining life is based on just DPIS and LIFE

or does it considers prorate convention to determine the remaining life
