Moving from S10U9 UFS/HW RAID to S11 Express ZFS

Hello,
We have three X4150s running Solaris 10 Update 9 with 6 SAS disks (mirrored root, 4 disks in a RAID 10 configuration) using Sun Internal HW RAID (Adaptec). We ingest large amounts of meteorological data with a high data rate and RAID 5 write performance was too slow. I have been very happy with our current setup, but was interested in using our backup server as a testbed using ZFS under Solaris 11 Express. I have been very happy with S11 Express on our 4 Ultra 24 workstations. I have only basic familiarity with ZFS, so what would be the
