Order Level Discount Modifier

Hi all,

We have a requirement to apply a discount modifier at order level (either in % or amount) for return/RMA orders. This discount accounts for the handling charges to be applied for handling return of goods. The order level discount modifier comes with adjustment method 'Percent' only. Also the order level discount modifier applies to the list price and not on the discounted net price. I am looking for suggestions on how to address this requirement. I have come across note 413982.1 that suggests defining a DFF on the order header, have a pricing attribute plus formula to apply the % or amount discount on the net order total. I am not sure if this works or not. Has anyone implemented this? Do we have any other solutions. Please reply.
