Fast Refresh of a Multi Terrabyte Database

 We are implementing an application that will generate close to 20 TB of data and the Non-Production databases need to be refreshed with a quick turn around time for testing patches, hot fixes, bug fixes to the application.
I will appreciate it much, if any of you have come across this situation and share the experiences and the tools, methodologies used to refresh the massive databases.
RMAN is out of question. The SAN being used is EMC.
