Min-Max planning - PO Releases

Hi All,

I need some info on Min Max Planning. When Min Max replenishment happens, it is considering Manufacturing calendar for Need by date calculation. Why So? Can It recommend based on 24*7 calendar?

I am currently looking for options with Supplier Calendar.
