Operating unit design

 Dear collegues,

Ours is a group of companies where we have three companies producing 3 different items and sells them in 40 different sales points. These sales points have their own stores which stores item from the three companies. These sales points have their own staff with monthly targets set for the sales point. One sales point can sell items from his own stores and/or from other selling point's stores. However the sales should be recorded against the sales point and againts the company in which originally produced the goods. 

My question is if I setup in R12 the business group as my Group of companies, Legal entities as 3 companies, operating unit & inventory organization as sales points can I achieve the control?
