"Enable Date Effective Timecard Rates" Can't find any info from the JDE Menu

 Hi,

I have a question here. We were told to turn on " Enable Date Effective Timecard Rates" from System Options Setup , and this screwed up the timecards. 

The issue is some employees have a most recent Effective Date for an older rate (lower rate) than an newer rate (higher rate), thus this option helped to retrieve the lower rate in their timecards, which is incorrect.

My question is what does this Enable Date Effective Timecard Rates" really do? I can't find any information from the JDE menu.  Enable Date Effective Timecard Rates" really do? I can't find any information from the JDE menu.
