Quoting History

Hi,

Does quoting records history details? Suppose I have added Item A in a quote today. Tomorrow I have removed Item A and added Item C in the same quote. Does it records anywhere that initially Item A was there and that has been replaced by Item C?

If not frontend does it store in the back end? Pl suggest.
