Dual Sourcing

Is there any feature in JDE which allows for dual sourcing for items? A part could have 2 suppliers but you can assign only 1 as the vendor in the item branch. Is there a way so that every time a PO is placed the system tells you that there are 2 suppliers for a part and you have to choose one of them?
