should every FE uninstall and re-install webtogo client if we are upgrading from 11.5.10 to R12

 Hello,
We are currently on 11.5.10 and will be upgrading to R12 by end of July 2011....We havew more than 100 FE's using MFS Laptop...When we upgrade to R12 should every FE uninstall the webtogo from 11.5.10 version and re-install R12 version of webtogo (OR) is there a way they can receive R12 version without uninstalling 11.5.10 version of webtogo

Please clarify...
