Deleting error invoices from RA Interface tables

Hello, is it OK to manually delete transactions that failed import (using AutoInvoice process) from the RA_INTERFACE_LINES_ALL and RA_INTERFACE_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL? The reason for this, is that we are receiving transactions from non-oracle third source (External system) and if the transactions fails to import for some error reason, these transactions need to be corrected in the external system and re-send to Oracle for import again.
The oracle AR purge process will purge only successfully processed transactions, and not the error ones.  So, can we delete the error transaction manually using a custom script?

Note: We are on EBS 12.1.2
