Siebel 8.1.1.3 SEA to Siebel 8.1.1.3 SIA Upgrade

Hello All,

We are required to upgrade from SEA repository to SIA repository so as to take benefit of AIA PIP Order to Cash feature.

We have setupped a sandbox environment which is an exact replica of our production database. We want to try the upgrade.I would like to have advice from you all , on the upgrade mode that we should go for on this sandbox. Do we need to perform development mode upgrade which involve repository merge step or can we directly go in for Production mode environment?

Please let me know your advice on this. Also any extra views will be very usefull.
