Close a branch plant

Hello,

We would like to stop using a branch plant and also prevent users creating non-stock purchases for the branch plant.  Changing the Posting Edit Code for the branch plant to N in the Business Unit Master (F0006) still allows the user to issue a PO.

Have you encountered this scenario? Do you know a work around beyond securing the branch plant  in the Security Workbench?
