How to determine lines not interfaced from OM to INV

Hi,

This was a very generic question from a user during our UAT session. Please let me know your views/suggestions on this.

Question:

We ship confirm sales order lines but due to some reasons say the 'Interface Trip Stop (ITS)' failed. Thus the lines remain in Shipped/Run Interfaces status. Now at this stage how do the users know what went wrong with the automatic submission of the ITS during ship confirm that dint allow the lines to move to Interfaced/Not Applicable status. Is there a exception report / query that can be run to detemine the issue with such lines. Is checking the log of the ITS the only way to understand the issue with the problematic lines?
