To improve efficiency of our customer’s patching processes and improve stabilization of their environments, Oracle Projects is beginning to routinely release consolidated patches and reduce the number of one-off patches released.

With fewer pre-requisites required to manage with a consolidated patch, and with a regular schedule of patches, customers can synchronize their patching cycles with a unified and quality assurance tested configuration.  The consolidated patches will include all the necessary pre-requisites to ensure easier patching.

These consolidated patches will be added to the recommended patch lists, so you can plan today when to download and apply consolidated patches regularly.
