Using Citrix to access P6r7 issues

edited Jun 27, 2011 6:14AM in Primavera (MOSC) 4 commentsAnswered
We're experiencing users being suspended in their session of P6r7 client when they're going through Citrix. It doesn't seem to be all users, but does amount of RAM on their local affect their ability to use Citrix to access P6? Read that it could be local memory issues. Thanks, Bob

P6 version 7 comes equipped with a /LARGEADDRESSAWARE option that allows it to address additional virtual memory above 2GB. Applications that are compiled with the /LARGEADDRESSAWARE option are able to take advantage of the /3GB switch in 32-bit Windows and will automatically be able to address up to 4GB of virtual memory in 64-bit Windows. Either of these may be beneficial in a Citrix environment.

Howdy, Stranger!
