Production Siebel Upgrade from Production box, not TEST-prod

  Hi all,

Please check the following Siebel Upgrade scenario:

Upgrading from 7.7.x to 8.1.1.

Test environment has no access to the production database because of internal security rules.

Executing Production Database upgrade by running the database configuration wizard from test-prod box  with an odbc to production is then impossible.

Are there any documents, besides the Upgrade Advisor 259.1 Implement Phase > Upgrade Infrastructure - servers, third-party software, RDBMS > Upgrade Data and Schema (upgrep and upgphys)>Title: Upgrade Data and Schema (upgrep and upgphys).

Description: Siebel production roll out - upgrade the Siebel production database.

Roles: Implementation/ Project Management Staff.

The Siebel production database upgrade process that could provide a step-by-step approach?
