Integrating third party application with JDE E1

 Hello,

We are considering for a third party application for our fleet maintenance and would like to integrate with JDE PEM system. I am looking for a guideline and suggestion, what is the best possible tool required to communication between JDE and third party application. Please advice what kind API we should use and where to look for more step by step details.
