How to add jdbc data source and mail server to the Bi Publisher by using a script

Is there is a way I can add jdbc data source and mail server to the BI Publisher by using a script or edit any configuration files instead of doing it from the web gui?
I want to do it in a script.

Any hints will be really appreciated.
