gl_ledgers table query

Hi,
gl_ledgers table have the following field

BUDGET_PERIOD_END_RATE_TYPEVARCHAR2(30)
:-Default balances level period end rate type used for budget translation
 


My ledger shows null value in this field.


Let me know which is the set up to have this field populated
