ASM and cloning using EMC clarion

 Hi, I am using EMC clarion cloning software to clone a single asm instance from one server to another server. 1. All tabalespaces are in backup mode and system syspend.
2. After cloning to new server with the same hostname but different IP, all CRS and ASM processes start up 100% and all work fine.
3. BUT when doing the exact same steps and cloning to new server with different hostname and IP , nothing works?
4. Looks like hostname is hardcoded somewhere in ASM but where?

Any suggestions on where i could start looking?
