Determining amount of depreciation when Oracle "catches up" depreciation

edited Jun 29, 2011 7:40PM in Fixed Assets - EBS (MOSC) 6 commentsAnswered
Oracle puts all prior depreciation expense in the current period when an "old" asset is created.  For example, a $5000 asset created on Jan 1st 2011 but which has a date placed in service date of Jan 1 2006 with S-L depreciation method and life of 10 years( i.e. depreciation expense of 500 per year) would have $2500 depreciation expense put in the month of Jan 2011.

Question:  Is there a report, etc. that shows of the $2500 depreciation expense put in the current year, which part actually relates to the current year - i.e. $500?

Thanks,

Kelly
