File binary Permissions Lost !
Hi all,
I'am newbye of this forum, I hope guru's can help me.
On the second node of a RAC environment I found that oracle binaries have a wrong ownership setup ( All binaries have an ownership as oracle:dba ). I discovered this problema after an HBA card change on the server, but I think this was present before.
This wrong setup leads to wrong behavior of the instance and some errors that prevent instance to correctly startup. For instance :
CORRECT VERSION :
-rwxr-xr-x 1 oracle oinstall 1272 Jul 6 2010 oc4jctl.pl
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root oinstall 4110 Feb 10 16:58 oclskd
-rwxr-x--x 1 root oinstall 6811361 Jul 6 2010 oclskd.bin
-rwxr-xr-x 1 oracle oinstall 4110 Feb 10 16:58 oclsomon
