FIFO with Warehouse Management LPN

Can FIFO be used with LPN's in Warehouse Management?  We were advised by prior consultant that it was not available.  I have researched in the Cost Managment guide and did not locate any information. 

I really need some assistance with this for our CRP...we are using EBS 12.1.2.  We know that FIFO will not work with OPM (which we are not using), we just need to confirm that it will work with 12.1.2.
