Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Safety stock

If we define the Satety stock for an item manually there are two pre-reqisites for this user defined safety stock calculation method.

1. The item should be defined with safety stock option as "Non-MRP planned" - This attribute is at the org item level in general planning tab.

2. Item should not be unit effectively control enabled - where can we find this attribute ??
