Reciprocity ended by Vertex?

 We have a problem with reciprocity between WI and IL for an individual that has just come to our attention. This employee's pay was correct up through mid-December when the wrong state's withholding began. We reported it on via SR and are now being told that Vertex isn't dealing with reciprocity anymore? Am I understanding that correctly? When and how was this announced? How did I miss this?
