Additional Database Server in Exisiting Setup

Hi,

We want to only add a additional database server in our existing environment for only Custom environment database. i want to confirm that just i need to add new DB server in existing JDE Plan and Run install workbench thats it which is mentioned in below doc? but how shared databases (DD, OL and JDE812) will communicate with 2nd DB server?

i have document 9.0_install_win_sql "Adding a Server to an Existing Configuration" but it is not mentioned clearly. we are using JDE E1 8.12/8.98.3.4 and SQL Server 2008 on Windows Platform. Thanks, Agha
