BSU process

 hi,
Do anyone know what is prod-info.xml and patch-catalog.xml  for in a BSU patch?

i was given 3 patches for my OCSG issue

1. KUYL.jar (given  prod-info.xml and patch-catalog.xml)
2. J3C4.jar (given  prod-info.xml and patch-catalog.xml)
3. 855M.jar  (not given  prod-info.xml and patch-catalog.xml)

We are testing the procedure to do patching.

patch command :

./bsu.sh  -prod_dir=/usr/local/bea/wlng41/wlserver_10.3 -patchlist=KUYL -verbose -install

First patching (after backup bsu directory)

1. Put in KUYL.jar with prod-info.xml and patch-catalog.xml at the patch directory
2. issue BSU command
3. patch successfully
4. put in J3C4.jar at the patch directory (without .xml files)
