Hello,
Could you, please, help me figure out and streamline the trade-offs between cloning X deduplication in ZFS?

For example:

Does deduplication have flexibility as cloning?
Does deduplication have more overhead (of processor and memory) than cloning?
Can deduplication, on average, provide the same space savings as cloning if considered on a virtually identical scenario?
Does deduplication involves regular scans or does it happen on-the-fly?
