Activation (Communications Industry) (MOSC)

Because of hardware requirements we need to change ASAP Database IP and Port. We have backup ASAP db

 We suggest you to implement the changes in a test environment first and once you find the changes are working fine, carry over the same changes to production environment.
Also the below points mentioned considering the fact that only ASAP database IP and Port are changing.

-Shutdown all ASAP servers and Weblogic server.

-Back up the latest entire Weblogic domain directory.

     1.   On Solaris/Unix Box:

$ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/tnsnames.ora

Note: Please take backup of all necessary files before modifying

      2.     In ASAP:

$ASAP_BASE/ASAP.properties file

Note: Please take backup of all necessary files before modifying

      3.    BEA Weblogic server domain:
