Shared Password file on multiple databases?

This is something I've never done so bear with me.

I would like to share a password file via NAS with my  300+ databases for just sys/system, which seems to be possible from the documentation

Is there a way to specify the shared name/location of the password file for each database after setting remote_login_passwordfile to shared? I thought
that the default was set to $ORACLE_HOME/dbs  and the naming had to be orapw<sid> for it to be recognized by the database. Is there a way to change this?
