WMS with LPN must use Standard Costing, cannot use FIFO

 Can someone explain why inbound shipments in WMS using LPN are restricted to using standard costing? My client wants to use FIFO costing, but the WMS user guide states that standard must be used? Any information will be greatly appreciated!!
