Auditd problem

 Hi experts,

I've just finished installing Solaris on a x86 virtual machine using flasharchive extracted from a good server. After the installation complete. the auditd failed to come up. the system keep displaying the "console login" prompt. and I was not given the change to enter root password.

So I booted to failsafe mode, and disabled audit by using:

   bsmunconv /a

Now I'm able to login as a root. but the following warning messages are shown in the /var/adm/messages:

Jul  9 10:10:08 sbi5vvrsp714 svc.startd[7]: [ID 652011 daemon.warning] svc:/system/auditd:default: Method "/lib/svc/method/svc-auditd" failed with exit status 98.

Howdy, Stranger!
