Connectivity between Oracle 9i client and Oracle 11g

I would like to upgrade my current database to Oracle 11g (11.2.0.2) from Oracle 9.2.0.8. But some of my clients wants to stay with the Oracle 9i only since their application (VB6) works with that client.

Do we any issues while connecting to the 11g database from 9i client?
