IIS proxy server for external access and SSO.

We are planning to configure a proxy server which two types of users will access.

External users - will access through HTTPS(IIS will connect to the app server using HTTP)

Internal users - SSO and they will connect using HTTP to the proxy server.

Does anyone have any suggestions or inputs to get this working fine?

Will there be any network issues or perforamance issues?

Anyother other issues that anyone can think off?

Please let me know you valuable comments.
