Reclassifiction Process checks Amortize Adjustment Flag on Tax Book

When the Reclassifications Process was run to change Asset Category, the Amortization Flag was checked as this was desired for assets in the CORP books.  But, the Reclassed assets now have the Amortization Flag checked in the Tax book as well (which is not desired).  We are on 11i.  Is this standard functionality?  What work-a-around is available to uncheck this flag for the Reclassed assets in the Tax Book?
