How to set ORACLE_BASE variable in an E-Business Suite Database migration from 11gR1 to 11gR2

Hello Gurus,

I'm in the process of migrating my database from 11.1.7 to to 11.2.0.2, i migrated my e-business suite to R12.1.3 all went fine until now.

My software installation of 11.2.0.2 fails because I don't want to set the ORACLE_BASE, I tried setting it to the same value as the new Oracl_Home since I am in an application context

and not a pure database migration, but this fails with the following message : INS-32052 Oracle BAse and Oracle Home Locations are Same.

Did anyone face such a situation? any advise?
