Migrating database from HP-UX to RHE Linux 5

We are planning to migrate RDMBS 11.1.0.7 on HP-UX itanium 11.23 to a new platform, Redhat Linux x86 64bit 5x and RDBMS 11.2.x.  What is the best path for this migration?  Are there any other methods other then Transportable Tablespaces?  Can i directly migrate to 11.2 or do we need to upgrade on the new platform after migration?
