Solaris 10 liveupgrade on system with whole-root NGZs
Hello,
Could you, please, clarify what are the mechanics updating a Solaris 10 system with multiple whole-root NGZs if I use smpatch pointing to a new BE in the GZ?
In fact I'm not quite sure if what I'm asking makes perfect sense.
My main concern is, in case of problems, to guarantee the ability to "roll-back" the update of a system with whole-root NGZs just by reverting to previous BEs both in GZ and NGZs.
I'm considering the creation of an new BE in the GZ where I would be pointing smpatch to perform the update, but in this scenario what about the whole-root NGZs?
