Job which purges AWR snapshots

Hi All,
What is the name of the DBMS job which automatically purges the AWR snapshots beyond its retention time?

i think it is dbms_scheduler.auto_purge, please correct me if i'm wrong. If this is the job, is it possible to disable it? if so how?
