Fixed Assets - mass change to end date

We are closing a site and consequently have a load of assets that will no longer be in use at that point. What we'd like to do is change the end date of all the assets at the location to be the same dateas the site closure, and have depreciation run through. However, the only way we can see this working now is to recalculate and change the life of each of the assets in turn. As this covers several hundred assets we'd like to find a smarter way of doing this. Has anyone found a smart way of doing
