How to Report on 3 Linked Objects
We're scratching our heads on this one, and maybe someone can point us in the right direction.
We're building a report containing Contact information, and also some fields from the Account linked to each contact as its Primary Account. That part is working.
Now we want to FILTER the report based on fields in Custom Object 1, which is linked uniquely to an Account. Custom Object 1 is not linked to the Contact, only to the Account.
When we build the report based on "Contacts", we can get all the Account information needed, but can't apply a filter based on Custom Object 1. If we instead use "Custom Object 1 and Accounts", then we can't get the Contact fields. "Custom Object 1 and Contacts" doesn't work because the records in Custom Object 1 are not linked to a contact.
