Planned Costs for Resources as Actuals in Projects

Hi,

Projects management allows to enter planned quantity and cost against a task.  We want to use these planned costs as the actuals as we are not very keen on capturing the real actuals. Is it possible to use the planned costs and quantities as actuals in projects module? If yes, how?
