Linux unbrakable - Need advise on best practices
Dear all,
I am going to install Linux unbreakable 6.1 on an HP ProLiant DL980 that will be used for REL12.
I got some doubts:
The total RAM is of 250Gs, how many swap should I allocate? 64Gs?
Which filesyetm type allows the best performance? ext3 or ext4?
Is ext4 "stable" ?
Initially the server will be connected, via optical fibre, to an HP storage EVA8k and then it will be moved to an HP XP24k, any advice on the filesystem size, type etc?
Thanks
ALe
