passwd on native Solaris10 ldap-client
Hi Experts,
i am running an openldap-server on Solaris10 platform an have several ldap-clients (native Solaris10, Linux OEL, Linux RHEL).
When I try to change password for an ldap-only user "schlumpf" that is logged on to one of the ldap-client-machines I get complete different results.
1.) On the OEL and RHEL ldap-clients password change with the passwd-command works fine an a encrypted password is stored in the openldap-server. That is, how I am supposing it to be and how I want it to work!!!
2.) On those native Solaris10 ldap-clients that do not host the openldap-server I can change password for a ldap-only user with the passwd-command but an unencrypted password is stored in the openldap-server.
